Yes you can trust the Bible, the only problem is that there are too many corrupt translations which openly twist God’s word. Most have removed God’s name from their Bible’s which begs the question WHY ?
Other translations remove or change words wilfully to fit their dogma, for example read John 1:18 which should read: Θεὸν οὐδεὶς ἑώρακε πώποτε· ὁ μονογενὴς θεὸς, ὁ ὢν εἰς τὸν κόλπον τοῦ πατρός, ἐκεῖνος ἐξηγήσατο. This translates to “No one has ever seen God, the only-begotten GOD, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.”
The Greek word for only begotten is “Mono-genes ” and so “mono” meaning (one) and “genes a in the creation account (genesis) So Jesus is the first of a kind to be created ! That is why so many translators inserted the word “SON” or left out the word “begotten” as they knew what “only begotten” means and so changed John 1:18 as it went against their false teaching that Jesus was eternal and had always been, and could not stomach the idea that Jesus is a “begotten God” !
