  1. According to the Watchtower the epistles apply only to the heavenly class. Abraham’s righteousness we are told is limited to friendship with God, even though the context of Romans 3-5 makes no difference between Abraham and anyone else who is justified by faith apart from works. According to Romans 5.10 and Colossians 2,21 the “heavenly class” were once enemies of God but are now reconciled ie friends like Abraham, so trying to distinguish between Abraham and the heavenly class won’t work. Abraham’s righteousness did not simply consist of friendship with God but as with all other believers, such friendship was the consequence of being righteous. Also if the epistles apply only to the heavenly class doesn’t that mean the earthly class are still dead in their tresspasses and sins and following the ways of this world and the ruler of the kingdom of the air…Ephesians 2 ? Where in the Bible does it tell us how to distinguish between what applies to which class? It comes down to what is our ultimate authority,
    the Bible or the Watchtower.
