Watchtower’s Reasoning Makes No Sense

Watchtower recently said:

“If Jehovah were to fix all such problems now, it could seem as though he were helping Satan to run this world.” (w26 April p. 14-15)

But think about that. Imagine a rebellious son claims he can run things better than his father. People follow him, and his leadership causes suffering. If the father sends food, medicine, and help to the victims, does that prove the son can run things successfully? Or does it expose his failure?

Likewise, if Jehovah stopped a war, fed the hungry, or healed the sick, would people conclude:

“Satan’s rulership is working!”

Or would they conclude:

“God intervened because Satan’s rulership failed.”

Helping victims doesn’t vindicate the rebel.

It exposes the rebel’s inability to care for those under him.
